Located in the town of Eltham, about a 40-minute drive from Melbourne City, Ballara Receptions is a beautiful venue with stunning gardens, friendly staff and amazing-tasting food.
From the minute you book with Ballara right through to the end, The team will make sure that you have the time of your life.
We love heading down for a wedding and having the staff greet us on arrival treat us the same as if we were a guest having a 3-course meal and I personally love the big dance floor area, which is located in the middle of the reception room, making it easier for guests to get up and party.
A wow feature is all the photo opportunities around the big lake on the property. Couples can get pictures taken in the swing, on the lake pier, in front of the love letters or in one of the many other places hidden around the venue. You really need to take the tour to see why this venue is truly one of Melbourne’s best wedding venues.
The on-site chapel is a nice addition to the venue, but couples can also choose to get married outside with the lake as the backdrop for the ceremony.
